The recent analysis of social media posts revealed five main themes regarding IBD biologic therapies.²⁴ In the Figure²⁴ below, the bigger the circle, the more posts were found that centered on the corresponding topic. The analysis revealed the most commonly discussed topic about biologics was negative experiences. This was followed by decisions regarding treatment, positive experiences with biologics, online information seeking from peers, and cost.
